Executive Leadership Workshop in
COMMUNICATION STRATEGY FOR HERITAGE MANAGERS

A 3-day workshop that aims to give heritage managers the basic tools to
communicate the identity, activities and events of their cultural
organization effectively in order to engage the right audience with the right
messages. Participants will learn how to produce a communication strategy
from identifying the appropriate audiences to drafting their key messages
and modifying them according to the different media they intend to use.
The theoretical lectures will be followed by applied work and the
participants will be challenged to put into practice the communication skills
they developed in the duration of the workshop.
The workshop’s instructor, Derwin Johnson, has a 20-year experience as a
journalist for CNN and ABC News and is a professional media consultant
and trainer.

- Suggested donation for participation: 1,500 Euros

- Headley Trust scholarships will be available for participants from
Balkan countries and Turkey (excluding airfare/transportation and 100
Euros membership fee to the IHC for 2016).
- Up to 2 IHC scholarships will be available for all other participants with priority to heritage managers (excluding airfare/transportation and the IHC 2016 membership fee).
