Theodoros Orfanidis
The Greek Conductor Theodoros Orfanidis was born in Herisau Switzerland. Studying harmony, counterpoint and fugue in Thessaloniki as well as classical singing and piano, his musical talents were recognised at an early stage of his childhood in Greece. In 2005 he was invited to work in The Netherlands. There, he was invited as guest conductor of various ensembles. His training as a conductor and pianist saw him studying with a range of international concert artists and conductors, variously: Rene Gulikers, George Hadjinikos, Ulrich Rademacher, Ingo Lenke, Theodore Antoniou, to name but a few. His work includes conducting in the UK, Greece, Spain, Austria, The Netherlands, Italy, Ukraine, Brazil, Poland and Russia. In the summer of 2010 he formed together with his wife Soprano Sonia Theodoridou Orchestra Mobile. One year later they formed The Human Voice, their own record label. Starting with 2020, he is the artistic director of the Patmos Sacred Music Festival.
Vassilis C. Karamitsanis
Born in Athens, 1976, he finished high school at the Athens College Lyceum. Holding a degree in Law from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (GR), he completed post-graduate studies in the Universities of Rotterdam (NL), Hamburg (D) and Aix-Marseille III (F). A licenced attorney-at-Law by the Athens Bar Association since 2002, he has served as Counsel to the Greek Minister for Development during 2012-2014 and as a special advisor to the Greek Minister for Health during 2003-2004. He is president to ASIFA HELLAS - Hellenic Animation Association and Animasyros International Animation Festival. He is elected member of Board of Directors of CIFEJ (International Centre of Films for Children & Young People).
Sonia Theodoridou
The Soprano Sonia Theodoridou was born in Veria, Greece. She has studied at the Greek National Conservatory “Manolis Kalomiris”. She was awarded the “Maria Callas” scholarship which enabled her to study at the Cologne Musical Academy and later on in London with the legendary Vera Rosza. She also specialised in the German lieder repertoire with Elisabeth Schwarzkopf. Sonia Theodoridou together with Maria Callas and Agnes Baltsa form the Trinity of the most important Greek Lyrical Singers ever! Sonia Theodoridou has appeared in the most important lyric theatres of Europe (Frankfurt, Berlin Hamburg, Münich, Stuttgart, Bruxelles, Paris, Firenze, Venezia, Basel, Lyon, Montpellier, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, New York, Salzburg, Budapest, Vienna, Athens, Thessaloniki, Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus, Ancient Theatre of Delphi etc). As a soloist she has performed numerous concerts and song recitals in Cologne (Kölner Philharmonie), Budapest (Franz Liszt Academy), Italy (Reggio Emilia), Israel (Tel Aviv Philharmonie), Lisbon (Colosseum), Tokyo, Frankfurt (Alte Oper), Munich (Gasteig). She has collaborated with famous conductors like: Sir George Solti, Wolfgang Sawallisch, Zubin Mehta, Sir Neville Mariner, Antonio Pappano, Rene Jacobs, Christoph von Dohnanyi, Gerd Albrecht, Garry Bertini, Ivan Fischer, Marcello Viotti, Helmut Rilling, Andras Schiff, Frans Bruggen etc. and with various orchestras such as – the Orchestra of the Age of the Enlightenment, Concerto Köln, Vienna Philharmonie, Royal Concertgebouw, Berliner Philharmonie to name but a few. Her classical repertoire includes some of the most important opera roles as: Fiordiligi (Cosi fan tutte), Elvira (Don Giovanni), Violetta (La Traviata), Gilda (Il Rigoletto), Mimi (La Boheme), Euridice (Gluck’s Orfeo ed Euridice), Salud (La vida breve), Giulietta (I Capuletti e i Montecchi), Maria Stuarda (Maria Stuarda), Cleopatra (Giulio Cesare), Jenny (Mahagonny), Santuzza (Cavalleria Rusticana) etc. In 2010 she became singing Teacher in the University of Fine Arts in Berlin. During 2011 and 2012 she started in the state theater of Cologne – Germany in the play of the Nobel Prize winner Elfriede Jelinek – Demokratie in Abendstunden, where she was praised by the audience and the critics alike for her powerful performance.

Anca Macoviciuc is a digital communication specialist with over 15 years of experience in project & content management, online marketing strategy, 10 years of experience as a radio journalist and host (Radio 21, Tanănana). As an independent online PR professional, she promoted film festivals and movies, as well as other cultural projects in Romania (Gopo Awards„ Bucharest Dance International Film Festival, TIFF Unlimited, Divan Film Festival, „Alice T”, „Ana Mon Amour”, „A Decent Man”, Nasional Musem of Art of Romania etc) . She was also part of the TIFF (Transilvania International Film Festival) team (Guest Department, Communication Department) for 15 editions.
